PHYSICAL EDUCATION
ELEMENTARY
This required class teaches students the importance and benefits of maintaining a physically active and healthy lifestyle. Students will gain knowledge about the frequency and intensity of appropriate physical activity. They will also be trained to find their exercising and target heart rates. Students will be challenged to participate in numerous activities as well as learn the rules and skills of participation in various team and individual sports activities. Grading is based on a quarterly point system that is focuses on skill and participation for each unit. |

Strength & Conditioning
This elective class provides students with the basic fundamentals of weight training, aerobic training, and nutrition. Students will write their own weight training program as well as write papers on nutrition, training abuses and aerobic training. Students will be given the information to make wise choices for a lifetime. |
